As you guys might now by now, I absolutely suck at making tutorials but I still want to try and give some tips
and advice to those who might need/be able to use it :3c Anyways, I hope some of you guys might find it useful!

I will try to make more detailed tutorials but this is what I managed so far //A\\

Step By Step Explanation

1. Have your desired eye shape/eye style lined. Fill in the eye space with the base color! (The color of the eyes, not the highlight)

2. Select two colors that will be your 'shading' colors for your base color. Select a color that is one shade darker and select another color that is two to three shades darker. Layer them on top of each of other in an arc like shape on the SAME layer. The darker colors go on top! For the last color, use the color that matches the eyelashes. In my case, I tend to use a dark brown/dark magenta as the eyelash color.
**TIP: when selecting colors , try to move the wheel more, typically to the right and move your color picker downwards. For example; if your base color is a pink, do not select a darker pink instead choose a darker violet or darkish pink-purple. Combine it with a different shade! It makes your colors more interesting~
Quick example: akphoto4.ask.fm/403/096/848/-4…

3. Using the default blur tool (or any blur tool), blur the colors together! It helps blend them, making a smooth gradient. DO NOT blend in a circular motion. Blend by moving your cursor along an arc shape. The end result will look like the base color is glowing~ My eye style involves a very glossy looking eye coloring.

4. Make a layer on top because this will be your heart pupil layer! Select a color lighter than your base color as your highlight. And as mentioned before, you don't want to simply pick a lighter color, you want a lighter color that compliments your base color! In my examples you can notice that the heart pupil colors don't exactly match the base color. I tend to use light yellow for pink base, light blue for purple base, pink for purple base, etc. NEVER light pink for pink or light blue for blue! (it makes your color choices appear dull) You can draw heart pupils, stars, circles, however you like it~

Lower the opacity of the heart as needed to make it appear more glossy. I usually lower it to 50%-70% depending on the colors.

On a different layer ontop of the heart pupil layer, using the same color you drew the heart in, draw a glossy reflection on the top part of the eye (idk what it is called ;;~;; sorry!) I usually just draw a large oval that covers the top part of the eye. In my opinion, I think this makes the eyes pop more, giving it more depth (?)

You MUST lower the opacity of this layer otherwise it would stick out in a bad way! You want it to appear blended in with your colors and appear glossy! I lower this layer to about 10%-30%. This again, depends on the colors, I never have a set percentage (also cause im lazy)

5. In this step, it's not that noticeable for some eyes such as the first one or the third one. However, you can notice from step 4 to step 5, the colors seem to have brighten, making them look shinier~ This is my favorite step ^3^
On another layer above all of the other eye layers, set the layer mode to OVERLAY. Take some extremely bright/neon colors (I mean it when I say that) and airbrush like crazy (kinda) anywhere you want within that eye space. Don't use a brush!

Choosing colors: This step is easy to choose colors for! Use the brightest color of your base color to airbrush~ Do not mistaken Brightest as the same as lightest! By Bright, I do not mean white or light pastel colors. For example, if your base color is pink, airbrush bright magenta pink. if your base is blue, airbrush neon sky blue or something of the sort.

TIP: Don't airbrush just one color, try other colors that compliments your base color~ It just makes the eye so bright and pretty~
For example;
pink - purple - a little blue
blue - purple/green
orange - yellow

6. Yay, finally. Last step, on a new layer, add the white ... thing. LOL \\^ w ^//

You are not allowed to trace the eyes in this "tutorial". Thank you!
